Whether you are an experienced surfer looking to broaden your skills or a beginner who wants to learn quickly, we have the perfect program for you.
COACHING OPTIONS
Small Group Sessions
Small Group Sessions are designed to radically increase performance, increase your wave count and ensure maximum attention and feedback from your coach.
These sessions are perfect for Mid-Level Beginner to Advanced-Intermediate Surfers who are looking to step up their surfing in a social, small group setting. These sessions are fun, cost effective as well as very helpful during challenging swell events.
INTERMEDIATE SURFERS: To participate in Intermediate Level Small Group Sessions you must be a strong ocean swimmer, have must at least 20 surf sessions or 1 year of surf experience, have your own surfboard(s), wetsuit and gear and pass an assessment by the lead coach.
FIRST TIME/BEGINNER and ENTRY LEVEL SURFERS: To participate in these sessions you must be a good swimmer and have some ocean experience. You will be matched with a group of surfers of equal level and, if you don't have your own, you will provided equipment for your first 3 sessions. After your third session it will be expected of you to have and bring your own equipment.
Need help acquiring your own gear? This service is provided free of charge for all of our clients. Please speak with Lead Coach Robbie Nelson for details.
Don't have your own gear for a particular session? It's available for rent for a nominal fee. See the RENTAL EQUIPMENT section below.
Session availability: Year round, conditions permitting
Session duration: 3 hours
Max number of surfers: 6 surfers + staff
Location: NJ. Location will vary upon conditions and seasonal ordinances (Memorial Day to Labor Day)

EXPIRATION and CANCELLATION POLICIES
EXPIRATION POLICY: All Sessions are valid for 6 months from date of purchase. However, we understand that things happen, so please communicate with your coach about any potential disruption to your coaching program. Without communication, we will presume that you abandon your account and the expiration will take effect.
CANCELLATION POLICY: There is a 50% cancellation fee, minus any pro-rated session. We work hard to provide opportunities for your surfing to take your surfing to the next level, so any cancellation to any program, session or lesson with result in a 50% cancellation fee, minus any sessions used (pro-rated).
This applies to all programs, sessions, lessons, both private and small group sessions.
GIFT CERTIFICATES
Private Sessions
Private Sessions are perfect for surfers who need a more one-on-one approach and are perfect for all levels and swell events.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: There is a two-hour minimum for every private session
Also, because of the busy weekend schedule weekdays are usually much easier for scheduling Private Sessions, especially during the warm weather months. Please consider this when requesting this option.

Intermediate surfers must have your own surfboard, wetsuit and gear for these sessions (If you don't have your own gear, we have plenty of gear for your use at no additional cost..)
Surfboards, wetsuits, and accessories are available for First Time/Beginner Surfers free of charge.
Session availability: Year round, conditions and schedule permitting (weekdays are best during the warmer months)
Session duration: 2 hours
Max number of surfers: 1 surfer + 1 staff
Location: Varies upon conditions and seasonal summer ordinances (Memorial Day to Labor Day)

Locations
To ensure the best possible conditions for your sessions we consult the surf
and weather data. This will determine where we will surf on any given session.
Also, to maximize your wave count and safety we choose spots that are away
from the crowds. This also adds a sense of adventure to each session.
Each day the location will vary depending on surf conditions, crowds as well
as seasonal city ordinances. When you call to schedule your session, your
coach will send you a SESSION ALERT via text message with all the details
for your session or lesson, including the location, parking information as well
as what to bring, etc.
